There is a new service release of SmartAss (Version 0.2.3) available on Android market. This release adds some small features to the application's GUI and fixes some bugs.

You can update your version of SmartAss via the Android market.

I read some comments that SmartAss is force closing under certain circumstances on some people's phones. First of all I am really sorry for that trouble caused by SmartAss. I really want to solve this problem, but I will need your help. If SmartAss keeps on force closing on your phone please contact me and give me a little description of your phone's environment: Your phone manufacturer and phone type, the Android version installed, the SmartAss version you upgraded from, the SmartAss version you upgraded to.

SmartAss works well on my phone emulator and on my Android phone but there is a lot of different environments out there. It's hard to test it on all those. I want SmartAss to work on all those environments as well. I would appreciate if you'd share your SmartAss trouble with me.

A service release of SmartAss is now available on Android market. This release adds some features to the application and fixes some bugs too. Here is a list of what has changed in version 0.2.2:

# Click on basket items now opens a context menu showing available operations
# The current list (without items in the basket) can be sent to others
# Scroll functionality added for "edit item" and manage "itempool item"
# Click on Itempool items now open a context menu showing available operations
# Item position in the current list, basket and Itempool are now stored and restored

The SmartAss homepage also has changed:

# The manual has moved to the "manual" section of the homepage. It's not in "screenshots" anymore.
# The manual itself was rewritten to give you better support on SmartAss' functionality.

I am very happy that SmartAss has reached a number of 2000 active installs according to Android market. I never thought this would happen so fast since the very first version of SmartAss was released just 6 Weeks ago. Thank you very much!!

SmartAss Version 0.2.1 released!! The upgrade is available on Android market.

The new version adds some new functionality. It features the following cool stuff:

# Itempool: It holds all items you entered. As the Itempool grows you can quickly compose your current shopping list using the Itempool.
# SmartAss user interface uses tabs to switch between your current shopping list, your basket and the Itempool.
