I am very happy to release SmartAss version 0.4.5. A lot has changed behind the scenes to make SmartAss more flexible and expandable in the future. This was essential for next year's upcoming improvements of SmartAss :-)

Also there were some changes visible to the user:
# Device orientation can now be locked to portrait via settings menu
# "Deactivate / Activate list" functionality added in list's context menu
# Move item to a different list using context menu on item edit screen
# "Clear Baskets" function now shows correct message
# Names of lists now show number of items in that list, icons show correct number of unchecked / checked items
# Fixed App "ForceClose" caused by titles with uncommon characters

On the 4. of Dezember 2009 SmartAss was first released on Android market. There were a lot of improvements over the past year and there will be a lot more. Happy anniversary SmartAss!

I released a new minor update of SmartAss. The new version 0.4.4 improves the dialogs with the user by showing item and list titles in the toast messages and the dialogs. Users get a better feedback of their actions. Here are some details:

# user interface improved, context menu entries re-ordered
# toast messages redesigned
# toast messages and user dialogs show item and list titles now
# "delete lists" clears items too

The release of version 0.4.3 of SmartAss gives you a few minor bug fixes. It can be obtained via Android market. It's also possible to download the apk-file direcly from here.

There was an annoying bug in SmartAss 0.4.1: when rotating your device the list always collapsed. Version 0.4.2 just fixes this single bug.
