What is advanced speech recognition?

SmartAss uses the Android speech recognition feature. You can use the speech recognition to enter the item's title by telling it to your device. Advanced speech recognition now enables you to tell your device a list of items separated by a customizable delimiter. This will add all of these items to a list in a single step. If you say "honey AND milk" while "AND" is the delimiter, the advanced speech reconition feature will add the item "honey" and the item "milk".

How can a change the delimiter word for the advanced speech recognition?

Well, within SmartAss click the menu button and go to "Settings". Click on "Speech recognition" and edit the delimiter word in the speech recognition settings dialog.

Can I change the language of the speech recognizer?

Yes, you can, if you want SmartAss to use a different than default language for speech recognition. Click the menu button and go to "Settings". Click on "Speech recognition" and edit the language of the speech recognizer.

How can I start the speech recognition within SmartAss?

The speech recognition is started by clicking the microphone icon. There are microphone buttons for adding item titles and for adding list titles. However advanced speech recognition is only available when adding item titles, it is not supported when entering list names or filter texts.
